CYCLO-CROSS – ACC affiliate with the Notts and derby Cyclo-cross League.

ACC has renewed their affiliation with the NDCXL.  If you’re not familiar with cyclo-cross here’s some further information:-

The Notts & Derby Cyclocross Leaque is a 11 round race series.
You don’t have to commit to the whole series so you can race as often as you like.
Cyclocross is off road racing that takes place at venues such as Markeaton Park , Alfreton Park ect.
This provides a great opportunity for children & adults to try out cycle racing in a safe environment as all courses are on grass & likewise are free of cars.  
There are various categories for children right through to adults for both men & woman.
Cyclocross bikes are the most popular type of bike used but Mountain bikes can also be used.
Entry for each race is pre-entry only through the BCF website.
