Routes for Saturday 6th August
Meet 0830 main car park Ashbourne Leisure Centre. Recommend you look at the routes before meeting Saturday and load them on a GPS if you have one. Even if you don’t use Strava it is very easy to register so that you can view the routes in detail. Many thanks to Charlie for providing this week’s routes – if anyone has any specific route requests for next time let me know – either send me the strava route or an idea which areas you’d like to ride to and I’ll do my best to accommodate 🙂
Weather looking bright and sunny – at the moment….. As this ‘scorching summer’? continues it’s worth reminding us all that it’s a good idea to continue to don hi viz clothing and even bike lights whilst riding – it can be quite tricky for other road users to see us if they are either dazzled by on coming sunlight or we are camouflaged by the shadows of overhanging trees and hedgerows. Anything riders can do to make themselves be seen by way of their clothing, bike lights and riding position on the road will add to the safety of us all.
