Free Zwift software to brighten your time on the turbo trainer!
It’s been in development since last year; and earlier this week US Start-up “Zwift” started offering their software for free as part of the extended beta programme.
You just need a PC, a trainer and ANT+ devices /sensors. Download the software & register, then hook up your ANT+ enabled bike on the trainer. It’s basically “social turbo training”, with the ability to do your own thing or participate in organised events and races. You even get to take on the likes of the (real) Jens Voigt who’s been testing for them. Make turbo sessions a little more bearable, and get yourself an ex-pro scalp (well maybe not).
Head to Zwift.com to download the software – it’s PC only for now. Let us know how you get on and whether you think it’s any good.
