Buxton Adventure Festival presents Dean Downing – Prize ticket up for grabs!

Three times British cycling champion Dean Downing is coming to the Buxton Adventure Festival next month.

He’ll be joined by the Guinness seven day cycling world record holder (1,766.2 miles) and cancer survivor James Golding.

The pair will be on stage telling their stories to an audience of cycling enthusiasts and so it is sure to be an entertaining evening for ACC members to go along to. Express your interest via the Club Whatsapp group or Facebook page and perhaps we can arrange to car share there (or cycle??)

The event takes place from 7:30pm – 10:30pm on Wednesday, 13th September at the Buxton Opera House Pavilion Arts Centre, in the heart of the Peak District.

As a thank you for sharing this info with club members, we have been offered one complimentary ticket for the event.  This ticket will be issued as a ‘prize’ for the rider who completes the most miles during a one week (7 day) period between now and the 10th September – let Marie know your strava stats by then and she will arrange for the ticket to be at the box office on the evening of the 13th.

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible, throwing questions at the pair. Dean, in particular, is a highly experienced team rider and manager with tons of knowledge on training, racing and professional cycling.

You can find more info on the event on the following website: http://www.buxtonadventurefestival.co.uk/news-and-press/news/2017/08/11/British_cycling_champ_headlines_BAF__13_September/

We hope to see you there!
