“A-” group ride to Monsal Head
8 of us bailed out from the fast group and decided that a slightly slower pace was going to be needed if we were going to last the distance. Heading out from a very murky Ashbourne, it wasn’t long before we were up above the fog and treated to some spectacular views.
My GPS said 51 miles and 4750 ft of climbing so it was a pretty lumpy route; only marred by the fact that the fast boys had beaten us to the Yonderman cafe and had the last teacakes! See you on the social ride tomorrow.
